I have created this program to give riders an extra dimension to their riding. I have knowledge and experience in riding and fitness. I have competed at high levels as a rider and have a Masters degree in Physiotherapy, it is with this knowledge and experience I can teach you skills to give you that extra boost you need to make you a better rider. This gives me an advantage over many authors and makes this program unique. This Applied Posture Riding program works.

A rider is a unique athlete, not like any other sport. Riders require special physical strength and co-ordination abilities. Riders need deep core strength, greater than other athletes, such as runners or field athletes. Using Pilates lessons you will test and then train all your core muscles needed for riding. This horse riding fitness program will give you what a riding lesson can't give, that is, how to use your body to enhance your riding.

As I mentioned before, a rider is a unique type of athlete. Riders require greater core and back strength and flexibility than other athletes. You must have great core strength to maintain your posture while applying the correct aids at all the different paces of the horse. Appearing still on a moving animal requires great control of your deep core muscles. I have created a horse rider fitness program that targets the desired specific areas.

I have not met a riding instructor that has been able to teach me how to use my body and muscles to improve my riding. All instructors teach riders how to train their horse. With this horseback riding fitness program you will get what you have been missing in your lessons. I can offer you this great information because I am a rider, a Pilates instructor and a Physiotherapist, as well as an experienced riding instructor. All of this information pulled together gives you a definite targeted training experience.
