It is essential for a rider to think of themselves as an athlete. Every athlete requires fitness training. A rider is a unique athlete, one that requires specific training unlike any other sport. I have achieved great success as a rider, I have a Masters degree in Physiotherapy and I am a Pilates instructor. I have designed specific exercises for horseback riding. My program is sport specific aimed to train the riding muscles for riding.

This program WILL teach you HOW to achieve a good riding posture

I have created a simple and easy to follow exercise program based around Pilates. All the exercises are targeted to improve the rider. This program will teach you which muscles are important for riding and how to use them. This very simple program will give great control of your deep postural muscles, enabling you to balance and control your body in the saddle. The instructions are simply set out for you to follow a step by step process. Once you have established the routine you will progress to applying the skills in the saddle. You will be able to ride with strength, stability and move with the horse.
